Kathleen B. Asdorian
Of Counsel
Kathleen Asdorian, Of Counsel to Hamelburg Law, counsels clients in the areas of residential real estate and commercial law. She performs residential and commercial settlements for Counselors Title, LLC and is the owner and managing partner of Foundation Title, Inc.
She is an Adjunct Professor in the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, currently teaching “Real Estate Transactions” and previously “Social Justice and the Law: Catholic Social Teaching” and “Zoning Law.”
Kathleen also holds a degree in Canon Law. She previously served as a Co-Chair of the Synod for the Archdiocese of Washington and as a member of the National Review Board for the USCCB. She is the Postulator for the Cause of Beatification and Canonization of Mary Virginia Merrick, a Bethesda resident who founded the National Christ Child Society, a charitable organization with 40 chapters across the United States. She is a volunteer for the Archdiocesan Legal Network at Catholic Charities which provides pro bono legal services to the disadvantaged in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Kathleen was a founding Board Member of the Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School (“the school that works”) and subsequently served two terms as Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of the Development Committee. She is a Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Washington, DC, and a past member of the Board of Trustees of The John Carroll Society and the Downtown Washington Serra Club.
Kathleen Asdoian holds a J.D. from The Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America and a J.C.L. in Canon Law, also from the Catholic University of America.
